what do u eq and filter in? the mpc itself or another program
good!
Awesome.
did u layer ur snares? how did u get it to sound like that. or u got a
soundkit
Pretty incoherent, that scientific metaphor really fell flat. I’d say get a
better quality camera, because I can barely understand what you are saying.
Very well said bra!
What do you look for when finding samples and their chops?
Thank you ! U know what u r talking about! Once agin thank u!
Why do you need the towel? Is hittin the buttons so exhausting? :D. Pretty
good video though…
Superb tutorial, I got mine yesterday and watched a basic video and then
this, the overdubbing different parts from the song is great – can’t keep
my eyes open now but will get back in the studio tomorrow. Thanks man!!!!!
Yo this tutorial helped me a lot. & what song did you sample?, sounds dope
I dig
Thanks so much!!! perfect tutorial!
Dope fucking tutorial, great job bro.
I love your analogy this s*** is on point that sample is a Banger
thanks
Nice video man, but this track is in 6/8 not 4/4. You can easily feel a 6/8
feel in 2 (1,2,3,2,2,3) breaking up the 3 piano hits into 2 distinct chunks
and then feeling the whole thing in 4 (which is what you did here). Thats
why it would be hard to rap over. You’d have to have a crazy swing feel to
be able to articulate a constant triplet pattern over a beat broken up into
a 4/4 time structure. Again, nice video. I’m glad there are quality videos
out here for guys who are trying to better themselves and make better
music.
fosho
Good video… 2 lessons in one!! (1.) chopping 101 and (2.) ETHICS
So do people typically chop equally or modify the hit/chop points? if you
modify them how do you get rid of the gaps in the sample? or if I chop
equally and the drummer was off time how can I get him on grid without my
samples sounding like garbage?
Dope
i don’t really understand music production (i’m a dj, a white dj lol) but
the thing you said at end of you video was perfect. why should people
criticise you or call you “nigga” when infact you taking time out of your
day to help people for free. there’s so many ignorant evil bastards in the
world it’s crazy ..
come to the uk (we’re not so racist)
nice video, thanks man :)
a that beat is dope and i bet I could spit a ill verse 100%
Thanks man, ya gave me the tweak I needed in my thinking. :)
