depends, what are you trying to do? record actual audio from your mpc into
    logic? or the midi data?

    bizmarkie507 Feb, 22 - 2014 +reply

@StarBoyJonesProds the mpc1000 only records what notes to play, you have to
reload the particular patch on the synth itself.

Depends on your Audio Interface…Which on do you have and do you have
    enough ins & outs…

hey i am doing what ur saying but my keyboard is playing the drums and the
keyboard sound at the same time how can i change that?

    bizmarkie507 Feb, 22 - 2014 +reply

@returninginsurgent I used to have this problem as well. Make sure the midi
channel set on your korg is the same midi channel set on your sequencer. I
do not have a korg so I’m unaware of how many midi channels it has or how
to change it on the synth itself, but lets say the midi channel on your
korg is set to 4. then you have to set the midi on the mpc to 4A or 4B
(depending on which one you are plugged into) if youre still having
    problems let me know

keyboard and recorded your midi notes but dont have the same keyboard
hooked up will it play back the song or will it play back blank because its

My mpc should be midi synced with my korg electribe. Question is, will the
MPC as a slave send the midi clock messages through its midi out using the
soft thru option? I read about lot of people having problems with the midi
    soft thru.

plug the audio out of your keyboard to record in on the mpc. then hit mode
+ record on the mpc. when your ready hit f6, then hit it again to begin.
    presto.

instead of 2b just use 1b, you get 16 tracks for each midi, 1a through to
16a will be ur mo pho and 1b through to 16b will be the other.
