gotta get me some midi cables
so im having troubles having my mpc drums play while recording synth parts?
Also when I go to record a synth part the click track goes away and I try
to make it come back through the mpc settings, but i still cant hear it?
nice track
very nice・・・
right do you kno anything about using midi with daw programs like reason?
how do i have drum sounds if the program is off…. and when i have it
synced when i press the key of the keyboard it has that sound and the drum
sound from the mpc on the key of the keyboard at the same time
depends, what are you trying to do? record actual audio from your mpc into
logic? or the midi data?
yep and thanks
how did you sync the third keyboard?
@StarBoyJonesProds the mpc1000 only records what notes to play, you have to
reload the particular patch on the synth itself.
Depends on your Audio Interface…Which on do you have and do you have
enough ins & outs…
hey i am doing what ur saying but my keyboard is playing the drums and the
keyboard sound at the same time how can i change that?
@returninginsurgent I used to have this problem as well. Make sure the midi
channel set on your korg is the same midi channel set on your sequencer. I
do not have a korg so I’m unaware of how many midi channels it has or how
to change it on the synth itself, but lets say the midi channel on your
korg is set to 4. then you have to set the midi on the mpc to 4A or 4B
(depending on which one you are plugged into) if youre still having
problems let me know
hey thanks for this tutorial ! i just have a question can you play chords
on the synth into the MPC and record the notes ployphonic style ?
question so lets say you load up a song you did yesterday using a friends
keyboard and recorded your midi notes but dont have the same keyboard
hooked up will it play back the song or will it play back blank because its
just the midi notes?
hey i have a question i have protools 9 mp i have midi keyboard but i want
to record midi on mpc1000 how do i hook up and and how can i hear sound
from computer keyboard on mpc 1000 i dont want to use protools to record i
have a tascamm 24 track recorder for that any info is helpful thanks
sick beat
My mpc should be midi synced with my korg electribe. Question is, will the
MPC as a slave send the midi clock messages through its midi out using the
soft thru option? I read about lot of people having problems with the midi
soft thru.
plug the audio out of your keyboard to record in on the mpc. then hit mode
+ record on the mpc. when your ready hit f6, then hit it again to begin.
presto.
@bizmarkie507 thanks. working it out now..will update.
Love midi like your videos
instead of 2b just use 1b, you get 16 tracks for each midi, 1a through to
16a will be ur mo pho and 1b through to 16b will be the other.
@bigsean03 It wasn’t synced i was playing that in real time.
thank you! i’ll be married to midi for the rest of my life
not exactly sure what you are asking…sorry. can you be more specific?
