You will need small wire. i took mine from an old vga cord. Kapton tape and really fine sandpaper.

i sold it but before i did they worked fine for a few months. if you reall
want to fis them the best way is to shave the a bit of the middle of the
pad where its round enough to the point where when you glue the graphite to
the pad its not touching. i will be getting another here soon and will post
once i get to the repairs but i have found this is the best way.

how does it work? did u sample each sound and assigned it to each pad, or
did u choose 1 sound, and the mpc itself made it sound with different
pitches?
